Heys guys, ive offically gotten the shits with having a back shock on my dh bike. i have a ht, a mongoose 09 model, and has shitty ass forks, i was wondering could i pinch my jr t's off my dh rig and put them on my mongoose 09, or will that just f*** the headset and geometry?

either way im going to say that anything over about 150mm will stuff up the geo, as far as im aware they don't have any freeride Ht bikes out.

ive put a 165mm single crown fork on my P.3 and it stuffed my headset. so not such a good idea if u love your bike.

i did this on a ht with similar geo to the 08 fireball, it does knacker the geo but its awesome fun.

fairly inexpensive to get some gussetting welded into the head tube down tube to add the strength. i did this and i have had no breakage dramas.
