Had mine tubeless ...
I was running non-ust minions front and back ... and stans rim strip ... just to help it bead + sealant. You don't really need the rim strip or the sealant but thats how I did it initially.
I eventually went UST minions without sealant too and it beads fine. I had problems with little rips and pin holes in the bead so went back to my original setup.
My tip, run more pressure, particularly in the back ... it just saves your rims ... the opiums are just a little more prone to dings, which makes it harder to run them tubeless.
