having done a few xc races, the capital punishment, and smashed it around the youies a lot, this bike rides very nicely. the long top tube lets you run a short stem and the headangle means 140mm of qr15 fork sits in there perfectly. get over the front and it's a real singletrack ripper, lean back a bit and it's real stable down hill (I can keep up with 140mm trail bikes no problem).

it got a bit uncomfortable after 80K of the CP, but by then I was getting carried away on the Stromlo trails, and i think the problem is in the age of the rider.

the only time it got a bit overwhelmed was doing the big drops on the DH track at stromlo, as I had 2.0 xc racing tyres on.

I put tubeless tires on with the stans notubes kit. the tires went on real easy (thumbs only) and inflated straight away.

Beautiful bike mate. I'm currently building up a Cove Handjob in a similar fashion and your rig is inspiring me to get back in the garage and finish it off.

May one ask what is happening with the previous Revelation fork from this bike?
