Mt Buller Resort Management is super stoked to be launching Copperhead – Australia’s first flow down trail – this Sat 3 Dec at 11am.

This gravity offering combines the best of both cross-country and downhill riding featuring banked turns, descending terrain and jumps. The 2.7km trail has a rolled capped surface and is shaped like a huge smooth single track, so it’s perfect for your hardtail, XC machine, DH rig or freeride bike.

The official launch kicks off at 11am at the top of Summit Rd and there will be FREE shuttle buses running between 11am-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday to get you back to the top of the trail, so you can rip it up all weekend!

If you plan to stay overnight, we’ll also be screening the Victorian premier of ‘From The Inside Out’ one of the hottest new MTB flick to hit our shores. Better still, you can check out this film for FREE at Cattleman's Cafe (and also in the cinema if the venue gets packed out)!

For more info contact Resort Management on (03) 5777 6077 or info@mtbuller.com.au, or just send us a PM.

See you up here!

Looks awesome! Will there be lift access over summer? If so do you have to wear a full face helmet?

Are there any costs at all?

Do we need a mtba license?

What does it cost to stay the night?
Copperhead is free to use, as is the shuttle bus (for this weekend only). You don't need an MTBA license to ride any Buller trails.

Accom starts from $40 per person per night upwards. We recommend trying Merrijig Lodge in the Mt Buller Village which is our designated Bike Buller Lodge (more info announced this weeked!) which is set-up to support riders. Get hold of them at bikebullerlodge@gmail.com.

Alternatively, contact our central booking service called High Country Reservations on 1-800-BULLER or reservations@mtbuller.com.au and tell them what you're after. They can source some accom for you and send you through a couple of options to select from.

Hope that helps!

The Horse Hill Chairlift will be in operation from Boxing Day until the end of Jan and full face helmets are compulsory.

As for downhill for the rest of summer, Resort Management has a plan in the pipeline that will be announced this weekend as well! Stay tuned to our Bike Buller Facebook page for the latest announcements:http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Bike-Buller/180484765325367

Wow! Looks amazing. Stonefly blew me away last year. I ride it in my head all the time now. Can't wait to get up there again sometime soon. Well done to the people at Mt Buller. :clap2:

Its great that Buller is making an effort to attract riders and make it a 12 month resort.
Was up there over the weekend beautiful weather and views, it would be nice + cool in hot weather.
The shuttle system + tracks are great= xc and DH .
Some of the riding is quite technical rocky + difficult eg Stonefly.
Copperhead has loose gravel so would be better after rain has bedded it in +there will need to be some modifications, has heaps of berms + is really fast. They have done a heap of work + are to be congratulated.
Klinsporn is long, rocky, narrow + excellent to shuttle but be prepared for repairs.

Just got back from Buller, and Copperhead is sick, although a little sketchy in the gravel (particularly in the first half). Once this has bedded in it will be super fast. There are some pretty big gaps available if you're committed. It was great to see such a diverse range of riders, from hard core downhillers, to middle agers, to teenage girls, families and everything in between. Well done World Trail, take a bow.
