Hey guys i have a 09 norco ryde and am having trouble with the chain guide.
i have to problems.
1. it has a crack in it that i have superglued it back together (btw its a blackspire c4) and it also has a crack where the 1st pic shows. do i need another one?? or what
2. when i pedal and my right foot goes down i get a cluncking noise in the genral area of where the ring is on the 2nd pic.
are these two problems connected?? again should i be worried?
do i need to take it to my LBS??

1. Guide will just crack again if you get another one, not a high point in chain retension history those things.

2.Check chainring bolts, crank bolts, pedals are in tight. A worn chain could slip enough under power to give the sensation of a clunk too.

I'd suggest it worth taking to your LBS, with strict instruction to 'identify clunk, advise if parts necessary'.

Any bike store should be able to get it in for you. Retrofits to any F-series fork. Installation is fairly stright forward with instructions
