Hey guys i have a 09 norco ryde and am having trouble with the chain guide.
i have to problems.
1. it has a crack in it that i have superglued it back together (btw its a blackspire c4) and it also has a crack where the 1st pic shows. do i need another one?? or what:confused:
2. when i pedal and my right foot goes down i get a cluncking noise in the genral area of where the ring is on the 2nd pic.
are these two problems connected?? again should i be worried?
do i need to take it to my LBS??
any way thanks:eek:

1. Guide will just crack again if you get another one, not a high point in chain retension history those things.

2.Check chainring bolts, crank bolts, pedals are in tight. A worn chain could slip enough under power to give the sensation of a clunk too.

I'd suggest it worth taking to your LBS, with strict instruction to 'identify clunk, advise if parts necessary'.
