clarks brakes?

If they are anything like their brake pads and they probably come with a set of their pads allready installed, i would not go anywhere near them, Their pads are absoloute crap!! no stopping power at all, so no i would not buy them.

I bought the Clarks s2 brakes to replace some avid BB5's for XC. They are supposed to be heavier duty version of what you are looking at. I had read great reviews about them so I was optimistic. I had nothing but bad experiences with them. They where heavy, tool along time to bed in and well....most importantly they didn't stop you, which is kinda essential for a brake. Went back to the cable discs which where heaps better and now use Juicy 3's which cost only a few dollars more then the clarks and pull you up easily.... but don't have the same bling factor.
