Chain guide stuck

..I searched and nothing came up so
I have an fsa alphadrive crankset , and an Non-ISCG (standard BB Mount)
chain guide and it wont come off it is stuck very firmly any idea on how to get it off ?

have you removed the bottom bracket form the frame?

well your the total opposite to me, i cant get mine to stop moving even when i tightening the BB the hardest i can.

Love tap with a rubber mallet (sp?) should do the trick. If there isnt anything attatching it to the frame, this should fix it.

check it doesn't have any grub screws pinning it to the BB shell

Yeh thats what i done and it wont come undone the bb

you sure your turning it the right way? the bb thread on each side is opposite.

The way i remember, if youre working on the bike the right way up, and the tool is pointing towards the front wheel, push down.
