Can RS SID race forks be bumped out?

As stated, can a 2010 Rockshox SID race fork be bumped from 100mm to 120?
I know it can be done down to 80, but how about the other way?

No. 100mm max. Extension of fork is set by air spring rod and rebound damper rod. You could make these longer but then the stanchions would be too short and would not overlap the lower bushings properly.

For 120mm you need a reba or '11 120mm SID. Longer stanchions and reba-like lowers to provide room at the bottom for the longer stanchions.

Here's a pic of the air spring rod with the top out bumper. In 100mm config the fork extends against the top out bumper.
