Build Day This Saturday the 9th April with bobcat.

Hey folks,

Wasn't going to bother posting this build day as we usually don't get too many people turn up from posting here anyway.

But, we need all the help we can get and have the bobcat booked again for this Saturday the 9th (had it last weekend too) to re-do the entire upper section of the DH track from the start down to the first A-line.

This is a huge amount of work but I recon now is the time and the top berms are getting a little bit tired and erroded partly due to poor design and could do with a complete revamp and something new! Plus it will be good to have something at the top so everyone can pay out on other riders while waiting for your run! haha (joking)

We will be starting at the top at 8am and will be there most of the day. If you are able to come (at any time) and lend a hand or even just to check out the new work, even if it's only for a while it would be muchly appreciated, plus you dont want the tail builders to get too fit and strong for the up and coming races and have all the fun! haha

Thanks for the help last weekend too, We ended up doing some pretty sweet work down the bottom too after you left.

Massive day thus far...

Huge day = huge thanks to all the crew today that helped out with changes at the top. A walk through from the start to Turtle rock is suggested, it still needs a bit of compacting hopefully be up there tomorrow during some rain (?) in the arvo with the compactor, and tidying up a bit. Dave on the Bobcat is awesome. There are still some fine tunning to be had with some of it and no there are no photos. To busy working it. When you see it you'll understand.

Best build day so far! can't believe how much work was done in one day! Thanks to all the build crew that turned up today and Dave the Gun bobcat driver. Can't wait for it all to settle in with a bit of rain (hopefully tomorrow) and race it next weekend!

Hopefully see you all out there next weekend and hope you all enjoy the new work.
