Brendan Fairclough's knee brace ????

hey all was just wondering what knee brace Brendan Fairclough has bee wearing this season after he stuffed his knee ??
In the dirt mtb mag it looks like a TLD one but i could not find it on there site.
any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

it is under their moto range. Im not sure if it is the exact one as I have not checked but it looks similar here is the link for you to check out yourself.

Cheers mate yeah does look quite similar to the one in the pic, but i dont think it looks quite as good as the custom cti braces but yet again he is still racing with no ACL and using a tld brace.

Bite the Bullet

Mate, Brendan's a pro and had to ride the season out.......riding with a brace just means that your knee is less likely to collapse but it will wear away your meniscus which causes long term problems. Bite the bullet and have your ACL fixed with either a Lars or Hamstring operation.

Hey mate yeah i know that he is a pro and if he dont race he dont get paid, but obviously he aint going to be wearing a shit brace.
I have already had A.C.L surgery with a hamstring graph 7 yrs ago and have injured it again. Just came back from my M.R.I and have to wait for results to see what i have done.
I dont want to stop riding, and i want top get back on the bike a.s.a.p so looking into braces, and since he is riding at a level beyond all of us i thought that might be a good brace to look into.

I had hamstring ACL done this this year which took 5 months of recovery, but I'd consider the Lars next time as it takes only 6-8 weeks to recover fully....not sure of the the long term prognosis!!

Hey mate cheers i will deff bring that up with my specialist when i have my appointment.
I asked the lady if anything come up on the M.R.I and she said that she is not really inclined to tell me anything but that i shouldnt be driving incase my leg locks up so im thinking maybe it is my miniscus.
Will have to wait and see what the damage is but once again cheers for the info, the more i know the better !!
