Bike shop for ladies in melbourne

looking for a female staffed shop to buy bike from in melbourne
or somewhere a girl works as a mechanic, wanting to buy my mum a HT mtb,
for commuting /riding to coffee etc, rack mounts etc
even ride around the block with her so she doesnt come off

i live in perth, so will try a few bikes here over the week,
but a heads up on bike shops and brands carried will help

i don't think she would use my SC Blur XC Carbon, if i gave it to her
might be a little overkill....
My heckler might be big overkill.....

she lives in east melbourne, close enough to ride too would help
and a name/person to ask for

Flemington too far? I ride with a girl who works at Bicycle Superstore if it's not too far.
Only other one I know (knew, not sure if she's still there) of was Goldcross @ Chirnside Park.

I'd go Total Rush in Richmond too.

There's a chic in the Brunswick St, BSC store, but she's not a mechanic. Don't think she's a MTBer, but still, she's been there for a while.

Jenny works at total rush, she has been riding mtb since mtb started and really knows her stuff.
Joe is at bsc fitzroy and while she has never raced knows commuters really well.
Lisa doesn't work at tfm in port melbourne anymore.
