I'd have to say either Straitline Amps (the old ones are amazing but maybe too heavy for BMX racing), Twenty6 Predator or the new Chucked pedal prototypes.

Just my personal opinion.

I love my DMR Vaults but they might be too big for BMX racing. That large platform is great on the trails though and they are very sticky.

i put in a vote for these http://www.cycotic.com.au/products/Loaded-AmX-Pedals-(Chromo).html

Ive been looking for something like this for ages to suit my main criteria - thin as hell, light, big platform and can be used with crank stands unlike most others. they are only 329g with a cromo axle - Ti is 249g!!! the platform is about the biggest ive come across - and believe me i look thanks to my hoof feet. they are bigger than my atomlab and sunline pedals. i have v-ones with all the pyramids on them and these are just as grippy. stoked.

pushie are the distrib for them, hes on here. pic below of them in real life too on my bike:

Whats your criteria for the Best ??

Fully serviceable, fully rebuild-able, World Cup DH tried and true, under the likes of Rennie, Ratboy, Wyn Masters, and now Brook MacDonald.
Sure they're a bit heavier then the rest, sure they are a little more expensive but these will last you several seasons and you have both Pushie's and Burgtec's outstanding customer service to back up your favourite retailer. And hell, we love dealing with customers directly so email us direct if you have problems with these puppies.

Chromo $223

Ti $266

Pedals look real good but the customer service is poor, tried emailing them a few times last year with no reply
Depending on when you emailed them last year, both the brothers were hospitalised for one reason or another and as its a two man show, there wasn't anyone to run the business...

Indeed. I always get a reply within 12-24hrs. The Canfield Crampons are awesome by the way. Never going back to thick pedals, ever.
They are also coming out with a new version next month or so, but will continue to make the old ones.
