I think I have just one caliper left from old jucies I split up and donated out. Haven't even looked at them closely. Is it likely to be same?

NB: I know nothing about avids...this may belong in stupid Q section.

Thanks Moorey but the Juicy brakes dont have retaining bolts, they just slide in and hold. Thanks for the offer!

The elixir shares the same pad retaining pin as the code caliper

Hooraaay, I'm helping!
I'm not sure about aftermarket spare pads, but in the avid set, you actually get a pin and circlip, so if you need spare pads, you'll get one, otherwise wander down to your LBS and they should be able to sort you out.

easy fix solution - you need a suitable kitchen fork and a pair of pliers.

1. Make sure fork prong fits in the hole, but doesnt go all the way through.
2. If suitable, remove the prong from the fork with the pliers, and insert into hole.
3. Bend the end over so the bit of metal cant fall out
4. Dispose of the evidence so the missus doesnt find out.
5. Job done.
