Simpsons Track Mountain Bike Ride
Dharug National Park
This loop ride along fire trails (approx 20km) starts & finishes
at Dubbo Gully on Mangrove Ck. The route climbs steeply
to the ridge top along Donny’s track eventually meeting the
Old Great North Road. This historic road is then followed to
Ten Mile Hollow passing the convict built Clares Bridge. The
return route is via Simpsons Track, part of the first road into
Gosford. BYO mountain bike, helmet, spare tubes, snacks &
plenty of water.
Time: 10am to 2pm, Cost: $10 per person.
Saturday 31 March (Hard)
Great North Road Mountain Bike Ride
Dharug National Park
Come and explore the convict built Great North Road by
mountain bike (approx 40km). We will walk our bikes up
Devines Hill while taking in the magnificent stone work. From
the top we will ride along the Great North Road to Ten Mile
Hollow. After a lunch break and a visit to Clares Bridge we will
return via the Western Commission Track which leads back
down to Wisemans Ferry Rd. BYO Mountain bike, helmet,
spare tubes, lunch, snacks and plenty of water.
Time: 10am to 3pm, Cost: $10 per person.

The Central Coast Hunter Range Region is seeking additional
volunteer Discovery Guides for it’s Discovery Program.
University students, TAFE students, active Retirees, persons who
share a love for nature and a passion to share knowledge are
encouraged to apply. For Further information and application
