Any Zwifters out there?

I've done myself a mischief of the fifth metacarpal so looks like I'll be off the real bike for a while, used this as an excuse to purchase a smart trainer which will hopefully motivate me to keep the legs ticking over (always struggled to spend any length of time on the dumb trainer and just couldn't bring myself to dust it off this time around). I'm looking forward to getting everything set up but holly heck there is an overload of Zwift information out there, even this thread is over 80 pages long, what's the best source for a condensed version of essential information for a virgin Zwifty?

Which smart trainer did you go for?

Fully jumped the shark and went Wahoo Kickr Move. Figured the WiFi connection should be a good thing after reading about everyone's Bluetooth woes and DC Rainmakers explaination of how the fore/aft rocker can help with saddle comfort seemed like a novel solution plus it was the only one I could find in stock locally... a fool and his money.

Cheers Gents. Also having a look at Rouvy, has anyone had a dabble or would that be considered blasphemous?
I haven't, but you can free sample it and see what you think. Zwift is far from perfect, but it does have a massive community of users with a wide array of options to tailor your experience. This is probably its greatest strength. Workouts, races, robopacers, group rides, or just wander around racking up xp and drips to get yourself a Safety Bike and some fire socks.

While we have a fellow newly in here, anyone care to explain the feather and draughting things you get going through the checkpoints? Do they actually do anything, haven't seemed to have noticed anything in my attempts.

Also do the kit upgrades happen automatically, or do you have to trigger them once you've earned them?

Yeah they work alright. Aero helmet is a good one when going for your 100kph badge ;)

During events I seem to get the anvil just in time for the climb, then the feather once I pass the kom.
