After spending many Yen on my "All Mountain" project over the holidays it has finally come together! Specs are as listed:

Frame: Merida Matts Speed 03/04 18" 7005
Front End: Duke Race 03 with Stage 1 Blackbox; Titec Blockhead DH Stem; Titec DH Riser Bars; Raceface Lock-On's
Wheelset: Currently Ritchey Girder OCR's 32h laced to Gold Edition LX Hubs
Rubber: Specialized Race Tubes, Michelin Hot S 2.1 (red); soon to be 2.2 (black)
Brakes: Avid AD3 with Gold LX Levers, Jagwire Cables with Gold outers
Drivetrain: Shimano LX ISIS Hollowtech; Hollow axle LX BB ISIS; 32t Shimano ring followed by Raceface Bashring; LX/105 Chain Pushing a 16t ring with spacers and a tensioner...

Nice going, it looks cool, nearly didn't notice the SS setup. I was trying to figure out what shifters you were using.

I found when i was running a SS XC bike that 32-16 spun out too quickly on singletrack but was fine up hills, hope it suits you.

Just watch out for your knees, they don't love SS...
