Alright, over 14 months this is the evolution of my Merida Speed, after starting with a Full-LX Groupset XC bike, and the beast is almost finished! Just waiting on a new front hub so I can bolt my Dukes back on! Goes well in street, light DH, 4X, and even the odd trail bashing! Apologies for the Pics being a bit dark.
Current Specs:
- Rhynolites Laced to Deore Rear and Formula 20mm Front Hubs
- Titec Hellbent DH Riser bar and Blockhead Stem
- Good Ol' sketchy Psylo XC's. Soon to be changed back to 4" Duke Races.
- Merida MATTS Speed 18" Frame.
- Shimano LX Hollowtech I Cranks w/Raceface Bashring. Just replaced BB.
- Specialized Lo-Pro Magnesium Pedals. Sealed.
- Singlespeed Converter and Tensioner (New off a P1) 16t - 32t ratio.
- Shimano BRM-555 Hydros, direct mount w/6" shimano rotors.
- Specialized Enduro 2.0 Tyres. Similar tread to the BMX "Spanky" tyre.
