5th element oil volume

Does anyone know the volume of oil (how many ml's) i need for my 5th element.

I've tried with out any luck to research it on the net. My fault because i never measured it when i took it apart.

I did find a link to to a web page about replacing the shim pack with spacers to make it more active, I'm not sure about this though, has anyone heard about it.

Usually rear shocks need to be "bled" to remove all air so not so much an oil volume. I'm sure 5th would be the same.

I watched James at SuspensionWerks rebuild my 5th element twice. He topped up the entire shock body with Motul oil and re-assembled it. No stuffing around with vacuum pumps or anything- he claims it makes no difference to most things, especially if you use a good quality shock oil.
