24" Wheel DJ Bike for Kids

Hi all

Can anyone suggest what options i might have for a 24" Wheel DJ bike, its for a mate of mine his kid is about 8,

Looked at the Norco Ryde but they didnt bring them in Australia

Looked at the Kona Shred, but he didn't like the bike as much and look more for DJ specific as that what his kid would like.

Suggestions?

Norco 250 used to be 24" wheels back in the day, and there was a shiz load of them around. Maybe see if you can hunt one down.

If there is eough money buy a full size dj bike and a set of 24 inch wheels. Then switch when the time comes.

CRC have a bunch of 24 inch dj options in wheels.

I'm also fairly confident that ns do some 24inch dj bikes.

Otherwise a 24 in bmx is a good option. SE racing have a few options and so do most other race brands

Where are you located ?
My household has 2 24" bikes, one DJ specific and one bmx if you're nearby and want a test. The geo is radically different, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
TBH tho, 24" stuff is not all that easy to get. Choices in tires are pisspoor unless you want street tires or TableTops. I bought an extra set of rims just because they're hard to find...
Do keep in mind about getting a 24" MTB vs BMX with regards to rear hub spacing.
