Took it for its first ride last night, 7.30 start out at the Camel Farm with my mate Moosh (2015 Trance adv 1). All good except for a mis-aligned squealing pig rear rotor.

Very nice I'm liking these 2016 colour schemes! Nice quality photos too.

First ride report? I'm interested to see how those PTRX1C go; what is their internal width?

Put it on the scales yet? 11.5 sounds very light even without pedals.

Thanks teK. Im not much of a bright colour guy, but this bike gets the mix right I think.

Brief ride report above, posted it earlier but took a while to show up. Was good fun - first night ride, first ride on bike, first ride wearing 2FO Cliplites.

Rims are 21mm internal I think. 27mm external with 3mm walls. See how they go over the next few months.

No actual weight yet, will do soon though. :biggrin-new:

Fantastic bike mate, enjoy. Prefer the look and spec of these over the '0' model.

How does the XT 1x setup go with chain retention?

Nice bike mate. I'm sure you enjoyed that first ride. I have a 2015 Trance 2 with few upgrades and loving it so far!!!

So far so good. Did 18kms out at the camel farm this morning with no chain drops. Noticed the clutch had been in the off position the whole ride too. :fish:

Two rides in and loving it so far. Definitely more of a pig to climb on than my old scalpel, but much more control on fast sections and downhill.

So far so good! Rode on Sunday for 2.5 hours without the clutch on (forgot to flip the lever back to on after removing rear wheel), no dropped chain or much chain slap. I kept forgetting to switch the shock to open after climbs. Still felt OK going down locked out, but I'll leave it in open mode from now on.

38.6km in and really enjoying this bike. It's harder work on climbs than my old Scalpel, buts its way more fun. And that's the whole point.

Another mini ride report.

Rode Langford Park in Jarrahdale on Sunday with a mate. Pretty flat easy going trails with nothing too technical. Great scenery, some good flowy tracks. Bike is going great, nothing broken yet, no dropped chains. Increased the suspension pressures by 5psi front and rear, feels a bit better (not that it felt bad before). May try a volume spacer or two in each as it seems to use its full travel reasonably easily.. :Banane38:

Ultra Lord

Hurts. Requires Money. And is nerdy.
You've started full 'duro with a renthal cockpit, you've got to complete the transformation with a longer fork.

GIVE IN TO THE DARKSIDE!!!!!!
