Pretty sure that fork is 2012 model, the gold writing on decals came in 2012, i have the same forks!

yes i am 15, but i should have specified, this is my mates bike which i split with him for parts, gear, etc. i might just steal it off him one day

It may just be the way they are photograhed, but it looks to me like they have some upsweep.

I was curious about the wide flat bar so I interwebbed them, and the stats are 0 upsweep and 6 degree rearsweep.

If they werent set up correctly you could easily turn rear sweep into up sweep.
