Hey guys,

I don't post much on here these days. Bit more of a lurker but i always want to share my new builds.

Here she is 2011 Makulu in transred. Weight is probably on 17kg if not under. Will weigh her tomorrow.

chain: Rolhoff (strongest chain on the market)

Spec list added

Well my previosu makulu weighed 17.3 with the exact same build, and their 2011 Makulu frame is at least 400grams lighter so without putting it on the scale i would say it would be very close to 17kg on the dot over or under by just a smidge. I have a different stem and bar but it shouldn't change anything.

Well i haven't had time to ride it yet. Im doing a half iron man this week end so not planning on riding it until next week i think.

But basically there's been quite a few tweaks from last years one.

-slacker head angle at 64 degrees (last year was 64.5)
-shorter stays
-more progressive linkage to fit a wider range of shocks (comes stock with cane creek double barrel, fox rc4 or rc2)
-and the frame is much lighter by about 400-500 grams.

I am keen to ride here to give you some feedback.
also gone down in price.
