have you done any riding on it yet? ie prior to injury?

Just wondering how it goes up and down and whether the weight is an issue.

My old fuel8 weighed 13.2kg and the weight has never bothered me in the slightest. You can see it's set up pretty short travel AM: short stem, 710 bars, thick tubes, wide rims. The weight of 12.8 is the gross weight of the bike, which is actually pretty reasonable for the spec. I could have gone weenie on the wheels (-200g) tires (-200g) bars (-100g) brakes (-200g) tubes (-75g) etc, but whats the point? I weigh 90kg and hammer wheels and tubes.

man that looks nice!

how long has it been in planning?
Well, i rode an 08 Fuel 8 for a year and when i saw the 010 had the tapered headtube, pressfit BB and dual chamber shock, i jumped. Ive got some 'spare' cash at the moment due to some freelance work, so i thought i'd just get it done properly and put some bling on it.

Carolyn Burnham: Uh, whose car is that out front?
Lester Burnham: Mine. 1970 Pontiac Firebird. The car I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!
