1x11 conversion

Have just recently converted to a 1x10 to a 1x11, changing my shimano derailleur (mid cage) cassette, chain and shifter, but keeping my chainring(32 teeth oval).

When indexing it shifts up perfect, but when shifting down it's really slow to shift into the third largest(32 teeth) and then skips and jumps around for about the next two gears then shifts down perfect the rest of the way?

It seems very odd as I have never had any problems indexing in the past

Any suggestions?

Check B Screw adjustment, hanger alignment, if youve reused the cable outers there may be gunk in there preventing free cable movement - could be any or all of those 3 contributing to the problem.

Also check you have the cable on the right side of the bolt on the derailleur. I struggled with shift setup on my previous derailleur, until someone suggested this solution. Apparently it changed the leverage or something like that. I'm no engineer so might be absolute bollocks but it worked for me.
