180mm travel boxer on specialized enduro expert evo ?

Just curious about these forks.
Are they just standard boxxers with a spacer so they don't get 200mm travel or do they sit 20mm deeper in the travel if that makes sense ?
Just curious and was hoping some one could shed some light because the guys at the local bike shop had no idea.

I'd say you're on the right track with sitting 20mm into travel via a coil added to increase negative spring to reduce positive travel and therefore height also.

Nah there teams so there coil did think that but was thinking they would do it with a coil fork.

Yeah I was hoping they sat 20mm deeper into the travel.
Wonder if they could do that with all boxxers ?
I have a banshee dark side which has 180 rear travel so got me thinking

I'm pretty sure you can do it with certain length pike airshafts put into the boxxer leg.
