1.9-2.3 tubes in a 38c tyre

So i got some new tyres inthe mail today at work.
I bought a 700x38c and a 700x35 tube, they accidentally send me 2 tyres (win!)
I was going to chuck them both on before i left for home today.

Is there an issue if i run my standard 1.9-2.1" tube in this tyre?

It should be fine to get you by, I'm assuming you mean a 26" tube? We did this in a friend's touring bike when a 26" tube was all we had at hand. Tubes are pretty flexible!

It's actually pretty easy if you inflate the tube to the size tyre you're trying to fit it to. I've used 26" tubes as a trail-side fix for 650b, 29" and 700c (touring size tyres) with no problems at all.
