    Night rides - Sydney area

Damnit missed the last post, been hectic at work and haven't even check the forums really since... work, sleep, work, sleep, repeat I am looking at a helmet light now, I've been told its a necessity to have both (most safe). You don't realise how much you turn your head continually whilst...

    Night rides - Sydney area

I'm in for night rides, westleigh is supposed to be decent for night and I know it really well. I only have one light though for the helmet, was thinking a second for the handlebars. Tried with handle bars only and it freaks me out when i need to look around so with one i just use it on my...

What are you listening to NOW?

I listen to Tool Aenima quite often, definitely is my favourite of their albums and was their peak imo.

    Whisky!

I love Glenmorangie 10 year old for an every day whiskey, been drinking this for years and for the price I think it beats a lot of the more expensive whiskey's. $79.99 at Dany Murphy's

BIKE RACKS AND CARRIERS FOR CARS MEGATHREAD - all questions asked and answered here

Thule Proride 591, twin pack. Been awesome, had a few long distance trips with two bikes on it sitting at 110km/h without issue. Just make sure to remember they are on the roof when driving under things ;) I nearly took my carport down one time and remembered at the last second and locked the...

Dirt Jumper - Suit a 6 foot tall person

Hi all, I'm looking for a dirt Jumper to add to my collection. Something complete and in excellent condition. Preferably one or two years old max. Money not an object, customised bikes welcome, I'd prefer a good brand with good parts. I've been looking and can't find anything I like, so one...

What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Last night I was bored, I have had a creak in my headset for a few rides now and I finally couldn't take it anymore (Renthal Far Bar Lite and Apex Stem). Pulled it all apart incl. dropped fork, inspected bearings etc, grease, reassembled, found star nut in steerer a bit off centre (used a spark...

    Another day another collarbone

That sucks mate. I have a close mate out at the moment with Broken Collarbone and Pelvis at the same time... came unclipped off a drop. He's been out of riding so far 8 weeks or more. I then proceeded the following weekend have my super3r chin bar fold into my face and rip it open and break 3...

    Are Hip Packs Cool ???

My swat cage on my enduro holds all that... id say time to sell your bike and get a specialised enduro with SWAT instead.

Who is 2018's best mountain biker?

My money is also on Sam Hill. Flat pedals can still win medals :)

    Awaba Heros

Mountain Bikers (on the most part) are just a rad bunch of people. Always ready to help out a fellow rider. Had a good mate of mine come off on the ourimbah DH section, broke pelvis and collarbone, flown out by chopper. Every one that came past stopped and wanted to help, it was awesome.

    Fox Proframe

Why did I think it had a removable chinbar :/ Looks good then! Price is a bit more than the proframe, and it looks so similar its not funny. Can't see any reason for me to change from the proframe :) TLD have some nice colour schemes though, but i prefer my matte black anyways so again it...

    Fox Proframe

I will never get a helmet with removable chin bar again no matter what brand or price point. Not after my bell super 3r failed me. Not worth the risk imo. I've seen pictures of giro switchblades in a crash where the chinbar comes off! Also I'm not the only one to have the 3r fail on them. Tld...

    Richard from Sydney

Fark i would be going from a mountain bike to a road bike if i wanted to live. Just out of hospital myself from going OTB at about 700km/h down a DH section i'd never ridden before. Depending on what area you are from in Sydney, Loftus has some easier trails, H20 in Westleigh also is a chilled...

    Fox Proframe

Get the medium, I measured the start of a large and out of the box it felt really tight. I left the cheek pads on as the thickest one, but put the smaller neck pad and this sorted it all out. Now it is very comfortable. Without changing the neck pad I felt the same as you. You don't want it...
