The last movie you've last watched last

Paul. Actually pretty funny but entirely predictable. Spotting the Sci-fi movie references was fun.

Had an 850 series Volvo (family car) and had to pull the starter motor off it. Thought I was in for a world of pain but there is a way to get to every thing. And not if a had 3 elbows and 8" long fingers:biggrin: Quality engineering.

    The stupid questions thread.

So everyone gets a look at the weird goblin like creature that was tearing up the engine. Makes it easier for the cops to find said goblin thingy.

DONT use carby cleaner. Acetone and cotton buds are the go, treat everything gently when you pull it apart. It's only one, have a go. 4 is a touch harder. Once you have it going, go for a ride how you normally would then do a plug chop to check the mixture. With a midrange flat spot, look...

Just be thankful you only have one pot. Try 4. 16 farkin valves. I have a hard copy manual (Haines) and a soft copy off the web and one is wrong about which valves should have clearance at what point of crank rotation. Aaaaaarrgggggggghhhhhh. Very confusing the first time. Look at your...

Need some advice for a new 4WD, can anybody help?

Prado/Pajero pretty much on par for fuel use. Anywhere between 8.5 to 12.5L/100km depending on conditions and load. 3.0L patrols are thirsty as the little diesel runs out of puff due to the vehicle weighing 3.3 tons on average. Abolutely the most frugal engine around in a medium wagon is Land...
