I have asked for a replacement, it has been passed up the chain.
The regional manager has been very good and is probably not enjoying this, either am I.
It’s all down to attitudes. Shit happens and I don’t ping any brand on a fault - it’s jsut the reality of mass production. It’s all down to how they approach it.

If I was them I’d be thinking this is an opportunity to study this one on their own time - if it finds a larger problem that might effect other cars identifying it now and not repeating it is a valuable thing! And keeping you happy means you say nice things about the brand and that’s worth money to them and well worth the cost of a new car.

would be hard to tow a caravan with only a 2km extension cord

"Fortescue received the first 1.4-MWh prototype battery in January in Perth.... (for the truck)
The unit is made of eight sub packs which each containing 36 battery modules. The whole thing measures 3.6 x 1.6 x 2.4 m."

Towing a caravan is definitely possible, at least with the few EVs that are rated to tow especially if you aren't free camping in remote areas I guess. That is where it might become harder.

We are actually looking at something to replace my bogan truck that we can tow (a caravan) with and still head to those remote areas. The Mazda CX-60 PHEV is impelling as for our everyday commute it would almost totally do it on electrons and for towing it apparently is pretty good.

And its not diesel. Fuck diesel.

Mate and I compared the Rimac with the Merc that has the F1 motor watching the Nurburgring lap of each. The acceleration of the silent Rimac is so obvious and urgent out of corners, the Merc looks slower and the motor sound loses it's appeal as you can literally see and hear each gear change losing some acceleration.

A Rimac with the same level of race gear as the Merc and a lightened battery pack would have to go close to the Merc, it has the entry and corner speed for now.

And the cybertruck, they found a fault with the suspension and even Elon reposted the video of the Cybertruck in the snow, basically cut all the suspension out, welded in new plates and now that same truck runs a proper offroad configuration.

Wow, I've seen those Diesel Bros on the Discovery Channel with the whole rollin coal fuckwittery, surprised to see them playing with electricity.
