    Bargain buys thread

Slightly off topic. Rotor-brains trust, what is your experience with shipping and handling times from bike24? I ordered a few items on Monday, all items instock, however they still do not appear to have been dispatched, roughly 48 hours since i ordered. I went with the standard shipping option.

Handwash cycle in the washing machine. i've been washing them monthly for the last 9ish months and the elastic still looks brand new.

    All day knee pads

Measurements were roughly 50 and 40, thigh and calf respectively. A large fits me perfectly. The knee pads come down far enough to just finish at the largest part of my calf. The calf strap is a little higher so you can tighten a bit more so that the knee pad doesn't fall down. I found the...

    All day knee pads

I've only had mine for a few months so maybe i haven't had them long enough, however there is no noticeable stretching at all. I wash them once a month so the sweat doesn't damage the elastic. so far so good!

Pivot Mach 5.7 Carbonium Goodness :)

What set-up are you running Joel? I've got an identical frame to Isildur and I haven't noticed any chain slap. I'm running NW 32T front ring with clutched rear derailleur.

POC VPD are great. Don't move around on your knee and barely notice they are there. Another vote for the POC's.

    Yakima Holdup 2

Thanks for the review Sanfran, I’m thinking of purchasing the holdup 2 soon. Hoping you can answer a couple questions: 1. How do you mount your license plate to the bike rack? 2. When you say the bikes don’t fit without taking the seat out, does that include after you have moved the mounting...

Official Old Mans Valley MTB Park - Hornsby

I also rode OMV yesterday, definitely still a bit wet on the back loop. I think that back section will always take ages to dry up. There were heaps of people there yesterday, more than I've ever seen, might just be due to the slightly warmer weather and rain finally clearing up. Does anyone...

    Casual Sydney Rides

I rode Lake Parra yesterday afternoon, apart from 2-3 small wet sections it was dry and ridable. Having never ridden Lake Parra before I was pleasantly surprised at the quality/quantity of the tracks.

    Post your all mountain bike

Yeah, its super light and hasn't let me down yet. pedals so well uphill for the travel it has. Mine came with Fox 32 150mm forks, I'm considering changing them for either 34's or Pikes. I find the 32's flexy. I've converted to 1x10 and installed a KS dropper. I'm considering larger rotors...
