The TMBC will be holding a maintenance/build day on Sunday 20th January meeting at the Amos rd Gazebo in Jubilee Park, the work will officially start at 2pm but if some of you prefer to work the morning post up and I will get info to you on what needs to be done.

Work to be carried out on the day

The council will be carrying out a inspection this week and giving approval/conditional approval on the new trails, this is bound to give a few more jobs so that we meet their requirements.

XC trails
-With the upcoming Wild West Race Series we need to put a lot of our focus on finishing the new trails being built. Currently there is the extension on the Rollercat which has been 95% completed and just needs corners and a few other sections shaped correctly to create a better flow. the Turkey/Reaper link is down to the last creek crossing.
-We will also put a bit of work into The Reaper to create better race lines
-All trails that are included in the race loop will need to be looked at and possibly opened up in sections to create overtaking lines.
-Erosion control measures need to be put in place on the Turkey up at the wall.

Tooling
The club will provide a couple of brush cutters and a couple of hand tools for those who don't have their own but if volunteers can bring a mattock/shovel/rake for themselves that would be great.

As you can see there is a lot of work to get through so if you can spare a bit of time on Sunday your help will be greatly appreciated.
Remember your PPE and bring adequate water for yourself.
The club will provide refreshments at the end of the day for those who have volunteered their time and equipment.
If I have missed anything or you have other ideas or questions post up.
