Hi John,
Part of the loop takes in that trail. Last time i was there it was a little overgrown, hopefully a fairy has been out there.

Rest of the loop looks something like this.

Gormans Gap Trail

I checked it out several weeks ago from the estate end but only the first 50m of the trail was maintained for the look out platform, from there it was over grown with lantana.....and I had a couple of ticks from the long grass.

What's the history of this trail...

Gormans Gap was the first ever road into Toowoomba i believe. 4x4's & Moto ripped it up for years & a few years back Gatton Shire closed it down so it could regenerate. Little bit more on it here

Ended up with 4 of us heading out .
Didn't make it over to gorman's ,instead we turned around at the preston church and headed back down, there was talk about going and having a good look one day and seeing what can be done there.
