Track Build Day Sunday 22 July 2pm meeting at Amos Rd Gazeebo
It will be really good if we can get a record turnout to help finish this section. Once complete we can get council in for the approval process then we will be free to ride it either as a loop down from the Turkey or as push run for the dhers who want a change of scenery.
We also need to get someone down there again with a good camera as we want to try and get a story into the chronicle with a group shot of all the volunteers who have contributed to the building of this exciting new section.
To complete this we need to-
Clear the remaining lantana
Benching in various sections mainly at the start of the track
Finish a number of berms at the start of the track
Develop the entrance on the southern section
Ensure where the tracks merge is safe and there is adequate visibility
Armouring of a couple of wet areas
Erosion control
General inspection to ensure council will have no issues approving the track.
Missed anything? let me know.
If anybody wishes to help but do not have tools or transport post up as the club has a number of tools for use and someone will be able to give you a lift. If you have club tools and can't attend let me know so I can arrange to pick them up.
