YAY!

just want to say thanks to all the builders and riders who come out here and make the park what it is. can't believe i didn't mention it in the interview! Without them id probably still be digging by myself. the tracks would probably be boring and easy. the ideas and knowledge put forward by other riders has made it a better place for everyone. thanks guys!

My description of where it is was a bit weird too. i think what i was trying to say was it is like a triangle with king lake and the dandenongs, or something silly like that. to simplify it, it's out in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne, located near the diamo jumps (a large number of people know where they are)

The park has been a bit slow recently, I've just got back from holidays and will be hosting 2 events before school returns :)() on Friday I'll be having everyone round for a build/ride day and on Sunday there will be a ride day!

I would also like to announce that i will not be going ahead with the idea of donations, they were silly, all it did was deter people and could potentially have opened me up to have my pants sued off should someone crash. I would also like to say that i never took a cent off anyone. I've decided to fund things myself as I've recently got a job as a mechanic at my local bike shop!

In the coming days i will do some more work on the website. A lot of stuff on it is old and outdated. I'll get some new pics up and hopefully there'll be a photographer around this week to get some action pics.

I got a new video camera the other day to. so now we can make High definition videos of people doing stuff! towards the end of the year I'd like to make a documentary, i think it'd be pretty cool. it wouldn't be about the park (entirely), more about the way riders come together and create such awesome things to ride and what a nice bunch of people we all are.

I'm also trying to get access to a dirt road that adjoins my property. if i gained access we might be able to get some shuttles going. However, I'd need to find a way of being able to temporarily attach a crank holder onto the motorbike trailer (dad won't let them be welded on) so we could take up 5 bikes on the trailer and another 2 in the back of the ute. or we could just use the motorbike slots, and take 3 comfortably in the trailer and two in the back of the ute.

Anyways, any information that you may need, just shoot me a PM.

Edit: got to get one of those books!
