Former Aussie DH star and now Australian DH national Coach Scott Sharples has just scored the Aussie title for his age in BMX racing. I remember at the Cairns World Championships in 96 walking into the Diamond Back tent and drooling over Scott's Metallic Green V-Link man how sweet it was. I saw Scott at Fellcrag 2 weeks ago and for someone who retired 4 years ago he looks like a racing axe. As you may know Scott is coaching the Young Yeti factory team and will also be trying his hand at some 4x and DH racing this year on the international circuit.
