Melrose Wilmington Rail Trail Ride, Sat Oct 15th
The Melrose Wilmington Rail Trail is a new bike trail tracking the old railway line between Melrose and Wilmington and is approximately 20km. It is a safe trail with most of the ride being off road. The terrain is flat to undulating along the picturesque trail through the bush and farmland. There will be a treasure hunt (lollies, chocolate, icy poles) along the way to keep the kids motivated. A support vehicle will follow the route to give you and your bike a lift if you need it.
Relax afterwards with a BBQ lunch in Paradise Square in Melrose and enjoy live music brought to you by our talented locals. All profits raised will go towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
