'Murphys Creek Escape' trail ride - Saturday 14th July

As discussed at the recent XC sub-committee meeting, there will be a ride on Sat. 14th.
It will be a 2 hour 'there and back' ride to Red Cliffs in the national park. Then we can have a look at the area available for trail building, and the possibility of a new down hill track.
We could finish up with a bbq if there is enough interest.
Meet at the United servo at the top of the range at 7 am, or meet at Murphys Ck Escape camp ground at 7.30ish.
Post up if you would like a lift as car pooling should not be a problem.

I'm interested -- see if I can make it.

I was there this past weekend. Did a bit of riding -- but broke
a derailler cable so did not get as much riding done as I would have liked.

Good country for trails.

Amazing amount of pig sign. Pig rooting half a metre deep in places. NPWS seem
to have really dropped the ball on feral control.

Unless there is solid rain, the ride is still on tomorrow.
It's looking like occasional showers like today. If it looks too wet to ride, we can still walk the area to scope out trail potential.
