Mont course length

Does anyone know what the final lenght of the course will be this year ? I can`t seem to find anything on their website unless my eyes are painted on .

I was doing a lap of Sparrows last week and stopped to chat to a fellow doing trail work (opening up an additional 5km), we got chatting about the Mont 24 for 2012 and he mentioned being involved in recent trail work in Kowen. He was under the impression the course is going to be set at 18km. I didn't catch his name, friendly chap.

Does anyone know what the final lenght of the course will be this year ? I can`t seem to find anything on their website unless my eyes are painted on .

The final course loop is decided following the traditional trail builder arm wrestling tournament and fire rake duel... but regardless of outcome you can safely to bank on a length 18.0-19.5km.
