Dublin: How does one find a bunch (road) ride

Hi Team,

I'm traveling and I've got a road bike (sorry), how do I find a reasonably professional bunch/training ride in a city like Dublin?
I've looked around the web and not found much in Dublin.

Unlike Austin Tx where I am now - all the bike shops have them listed, went for a blast on Sunday with the Violet Crown (out of Mello Jonnies)

I guess good ride bunches are kept secret to stop people like me just turning up... how do I break in?

any ideas for Dublin appreciated.

Ask a bike shop locally, they will surely know plenty of group rides.

I just typed in Dublin rides, and got a group, the Dublin cycling and got another 1/2 dozen groups and hits that would be useful.

Just find a group, join it, then ask the group - answers will be forthcoming

If you're looking to ride around the Dublin area, head for the Wicklow mountains.
They've had many Tour de France stages up around there. Road surfaces are good and scenery is awesome!

Try google Wicklow ride groups as well. Its not far from Dublin City.
