Nope, they are quite different to the Sun's you're referring to.

Doubletracks? The DTs are pinned and the Mag30s are welded, correct? (any DMer will know this )

They ARE just Sun rims tho, with an Intense sticker on em (it even says Sun on em).

As for the rims, yes the pinned/welded thing is part of the reason they're different, but more importantly I'll think you'll find they're made from different metals (the name MAG is a pretty big hint :wink: )

Well after reading that last post I reckon I should clarify myself.
The MAG 30s use a lot more magnesium in the rim than the doubletracks, it's just a different alloy, but it does save a lot of weight without giving up too much strength.
As for what factory they come out of, well in this industry that's always hard to tell...
