(XC) 2nd Place for the Cross Country 7 hour Grand Prix
Sean Martin and Victoria Armstrong got a solid 2nd place onboard the 2UP for the 7hr Shimano XC Grand Prix at Ourimbah on the 29th September. The amazing 8km long single track was a perfect combination of twisting climbs and downhills, requiring a bike with great pedalling and suspension efficiency. A new XC podium for the 2UP completing 4 x AM and 4 x DH podiums this year. Just a reminder, this is the same 2UP frame used for the State/National Downhill series. Not bad for an all-mountain bike. 2012 AUSBIKE Expo, Melbourne 13-14th October
If you didn’t know it before, we are delighted to share news with you that we will be exhibiting at the 2012 Ausbike Expo held at Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton, VIC, this weekend. If you haven’t heard of Ausbike, its Australia’s premier bike exhibition showcasing the latest, most innovative and sustainable bikes and bike related products. For those who come along, there will be a man made mini track to give you the opportunity to test ride the Deubel 2UP. So come along this weekend and check out the Deubel 2UP. (DH) 1st Place - RedAss NSW/ACT State Downhill, Championships, 7th October
David Maggs won the NSW/ACT State Downhill championships in the Under 17’s category at Ourimbah today. The Deubel 2UP 7” prototype conversion kit absolutely loves this track as it consists of flowy burms, lots of big jumps and pedalling sections. Just another successful challenge for the 2UP! (DH) 3rd Place - RedAss NSW/ACT State Downhill, Rd 4, 15th September
David Maggs wrapped up the series at Stromlo on the 15th September, finishing 3rd place only 0.25 seconds behind the local riders. The final round will be at Thredbo on 18th November. For more pictures.
