Wow.

I first remember reading about this over 3 years ago in a post on MTBR. It was asking for suggestions for the route of this very trail. I responded with a suggestion at the time and thought nothing of it: http://forums.mtbr.com/australia-ne...d-canberras-centenary-636173.html#post7132125

Now looking at the map - it's spookily similar to what I suggested 3 years ago (only listed in reverse), specifically: Carillion -> Kings Ave Bridge -> Parliament House -> Melbourne Ave -> Red Hill. As well as Stromlo MTB park -> Black Mountain -> O'Connor Ridge -> Belco (via bushland betw Bruce & Radford) -> Gunghalin (via Ginninderra Creek).

I wonder if someone actually read that post. Pity they left out the mountain climbs for the cycling route though.
