VIC 2011 FGP / Garmin 24 at Redesdale

I missed that last year.
Did the preceding 4 at Forrest.
Never been there (Redesdale) what was it like?
Camping (Forrest was tents on the oval)

Did I miss out big time? Or were the Forrest ones better.
Hoping to do it this year.

The first 13 or 14 hours were a real tough slog as it was very wet and the track unrideable in many spots. Camping was just about wherever you liked. But who sleeps at a 24. It was quite a long lap, with many taking over 1:30. Some would be pushing 2 hours.
To give you some idea of conditions, the Van De Plu???'s pulled at about 10:30pm and started drinking.
Atmosphere was pretty good considering the conditions. The dime was great and some funky smells were coming from one particular camper van.
