One of 8 rocks in the entire redwoods.
This one is called Dwayne Johnson and had some good mossyness to it.

oh shit - you went the adjustable seat stays. I’m assuming you only went +10mm? How is it?

I’m liking the extra length, no issues.
Don’t think I’ll run another sram udh. I’ll get an alloy nsb or burgtec one. They’re twice the price but I’ve already fucked 2 sram branded ones riding. Needed to put a new brake hose in as well as it’s moved the caliper aboit 80-90mm further away.

I actually rode it, for the first time in a long time... love the Bomber CR, night and day compared to the DNM air thing that was on it before (it did do the job though, till I got too fat.) I really enjoyed myself, hills are not my friends though and I nearly threw up which hasn't happened in a while. I've got to put the Z150 back on it cause the 66 is too much of a tank for my lack of fitness, also a bit too tall. I've ordered the stuff to make up some new lines for the m755 XT brakes which will be the next thing, along with bigger rotors but I'm pretty happy with it as it stands...

12km in about 2 hours, moving time of 1:20... far from my best but I'm glad I went.

Holllly shhheeet. How many kms on the hubs? Does that mean new bike day?
Was just looking. They went on my Procaliber (the orange one) in September 2020. Puts them roughly around 10,000km. I was running Mavic wheels on the orange bike as well, but couldn't get a Mavic 12sp freewheel when I got the Supercaliber.

While NBD is always welcome, I like the way Evie dances, so new hub day is all I'll need.

Any one have any suggestions for a cheapish reasonable hub?

Are they Carbon Ti (I think that's what I make out in the photo)? I'd send them a polite email with photos, while they are unlikely to warranty they may do a significant discount on a replacement... can't hurt to ask.

They are, well spotted!

Jean-Claude has been amazing both times I've dealt with him so far. When I ordered new bearings last year, he remembered me ordering the correct end cap the year before.

Even if they can just send me a shell. Probably the cheapest, easiest way.

How do you get all these shots of you, especially the one sliding? Set the phone/camera up then run back up and send it?
Looks like Roto is still a slopfest from todays coverage of Crankworx

A farewell ride at the trails at Sparrow Hill, where ongoing logging is about to finally finish them off. Realised I first rode and raced these just on twenty years ago.

Old…

My local in Canberra! Under the bridge and to the left is apparently going to be left for a while longer. Long loop with Billy Cart is 25km loop. Some trail maintenance happened last week just there.

Interested to see what they do with Kowen as thats the main rally training/media place for the Rally of Canberra and would be arguably more dangerous if they leave it in the same state as they did the rest of Sparrow.
