I edited while you were typing, nitpicker.Mercury is a planet.
I glossed over the 30km part. My bad.In what universe do you reckon Hambo's going for a 30km ride?
FIFYI glossed over the ‘riding’ part. My bad.
Just ride it out.Fuck off you lot, I'm in pain.
Maybe next month...Just ride it out.
As above. My nightly loop is faster on a shorter travel bike, and could easily be done full rigid….but my Christ, it’s fun on the ENR coming down.I'm definitely overbiked for my skills, but I fucking love it and its making me want to go out. Thats enough I reckon.
I'm even itching to go out over the weekend while I'm still sore from my off last week, but might only get chance to get the roadie out
I'm actually quicker going up than I was on my hardtail, but thats likely the gear/my ineptitude as I had a 38/36 as my top gear vs. a 30/50 now, and now I 'enjoy' the ups more, particularly as I know the fun bit is comingAs above. Dual suspension can make finding traction a lot easier on climbs, and minimise shocks to the body reducing the need to weight/unweight the saddle or pedals - all of which can all help keep the pace up on climbs.I'm actually quicker going up than I was on my hardtail, but thats likely the gear/my ineptitude as I had a 38/36 as my top gear vs. a 30/50 now, and now I 'enjoy' the ups more, particularly as I know the fun bit is coming
Yeah, definitely notice that too. I find myself out of the saddle lessDual suspension can make finding traction a lot easier on climbs, and minimise shocks to the body reducing the need to weight/unweight the saddle or pedals - all of which can all help keep the pace up on climbs.
The ENR is not only longer travel and 2kg heavier, it’s running big minions, as opposed to NN’s on the Five and minion SS rear on the Alpine. That’s the biggest drag, but worth it.I'm actually quicker going up than I was on my hardtail, but thats likely the gear/my ineptitude as I had a 38/36 as my top gear vs. a 30/50 now, and now I 'enjoy' the ups more, particularly as I know the fun bit is coming
I've got the same wheels/tyres (EXO DHF and Aggressor) on my Prime as I did on the HT. Yes, the frame is heavier but it feels easier to ride. The ENR is not only longer travel and 2kg heavier, it’s running big minions, as opposed to NN’s on the Five and minion SS rear on the Alpine. Yes.Is it really overbiked if the said overbike saves you on many occasions from otb and other disasters due to lack of skill?
But they look so nice at the trailhead....Yes.
spend the money on a riding coach not on a 38mm chassis for moar stiffness. Kashima won’t do shit when ur panic revving cause you can’t ride a 2ft donkey kicker.
I bought a zeb lol
Flog. Zeb isn’t kashima.Yes.

Where are all the Wild Enduros ?The ENR is not only longer travel and 2kg heavier, it’s running big minions, as opposed to NN’s on the Five and minion SS rear on the Alpine. That’s the biggest drag, but worth it.
