So who's got some news re the world champs?

Anyone going to watch live?

Can anyone enlighten me on some times/channels for viewing the races on TV?

Who's gonna win what?

Im getting that same ol' TDF sensation thru my body, wish this event went for 3 weeks!! Ah well, should be a good view.

Coverage on One HD.

I not making predictions until "Australia" does as he beats me in predictions each bl..dy time!!!:D

Will make one - Sparticus and Tony Martin to go 1 - 2 in tt.

Commentators at tt to repeatedly refer to M Rogers as prev 3*world tt champ (even considering he prob has doesnt a good tt since?)

Winner U23 Mens ITT: Taylor Phinney frm US to win - best aussie Rohan Dennis

Winner Elite Womens ITT: Vos

Winner Elite Mens ITT: Tony Martin

Second/Third Elite Mens ITT (either order): Cancarella, One of Velitis (?) twins frm Slovakia (going surprise shot!!!)

Winner U23 Mens Road Race: Phinney for the double

Winner Womens Road Race: English quinella - cant split them - Cooke and Pooley

Does the Elite Mens Road Road Race come down to a bunch sprint?: Yes but only small group and not the traditional sprint. Two hills near end should stop pure speed men

Does Mark Cavendish hold onto the peleton?: Prob not but as he made two tours this yr i got feeling he could be bit darkie - if he is there with 1km to go doubt if they can beat him

If a break away wins the Elite Mens Road Race, how many members does it have at 3km to go (+/- 6.5 riders): 10 riders - 2 aussies, 2 spanish, 3 italians, 2 french and ....dont know

Winner Elite Mens Road Race: Louis Sanchez

Second/Third (either order) Elite Mens Road Race: Phillipe Gilbert, Cadel

Fourth/Fifth (either order) Elite Mens Road Race Gerrans, Sammy Sanchez

Another Aussie in 4th I believe... did the guy I picked even race?

Judith Arndt's 2nd in the Womens ITT gives me a bit of hope for the Womens Road Race, although she was behind your English women

In any case - End of Day 1: Jumpers:1 Australia: 0

I think womens road race going to be very interesting, few chances. I giv you half point as my pick in womens tt did nothing. Cooke is saving for road race.
Mens tt today be interesting. Read on eurosports how Cancarella said he isnt as hungry for title as prev yrs - with his contract dramas etc looks like good time for him to get done.
Coverage is pretty terrible considering its in Aust - mens tt on live but most of has to goddam work - then only 1 hr highlights - suppose better than nothing.

Start times
M Rogers 3 20pm
T Martin 4 14pm
R Porte 4 16
Cancarella 4 18

Dry but windy. Go anyone but Cancarella (only cause he is "Australia"'s pick)

Eurosports has live commentary

Our nations hopes lie with Richie Porte

Updated - Fabien has fastest 1st lap by 11 seconds

Think you got this "Australia"
