I know Finn and Luca have won races this year but that race felt like a real changing of the guard. So many first to third year elites killing it. Troy, Amaury and Loris must have felt like old men around all the kids.

i wonder if the style of track had anything to do with it or if it just represents the shear weight of talent pouring in over the past few years.

Really feels like any of 10 people can win now rather than the old days when only 2 or 3 guys were really in the hunt.

That was wild, how good was the slow motion after the race!
The girls race was awesome too, kinda bummed Valentina's Holl won again after the other girls were close.

Yeah, was pretty impressed with the Kiwi girl's run. I really thought that she was going to hold the lead until the end, given the time that she picked up in the final two splits.

The Pinkbike wrap has a great slow down of the drift at 7:25 in the below video. You can see the tyre pulling, the wheel warping and the frame flexing under the pulsing stresses. Incredible that he held on to it; testament to the design of the bike and its components.

TBH, Beaumont has been improving.

Ric the dick needs to throw out his "catchphrase notebook" though.
