Tour De Rotorburn 2025 - Starts Sat 5th July

Last year, 2024 was the first year in a long time that they raced stage 21 without neutralising the GC riders as it finished in Nice, instead of the Champagne Champs Elysees cruise and people were excited about it. I believe this is whey they are doing the hill climbs at the end, to make it as exciting as the Nice finish in 2024.

Watching them sip chardonnay and patting each others bums is shithouse. Race till the end.

I chickened out, I have Pog as triple pointer. Never (maybe, not looked it up) has the TDF winner, won in Paris, will he try ?

I do have WVA, Quinn etc in the team.

Well done all ! It really did come down to the final stage and a whole lot of luck.

WVA drafted in on stage 20, gets the final stage 21 win which landed 283 points.

Yeah, I've filled in a team. Not sure my heart's in it this year.
I messaged Oz a couple of weeks ago. Looked Like he had a fair bit on that was taking his attention.
 
Jeebus, stage 5 already. Flat one for the sprinters, hopefully. They will all be toeier than a Roman sandal in tonight's stage to Pau!
 
Last week. For a bike race, the amount of cars and motorbikes on course is just ridiculous. One man break the other day and I counted 4 cars and 9 motorbikes behind him at one point.

Someone a while ago - maybe @hifiandmtb? - said that the TDF has a worse environmental footprint than F1.

Still, it's an amazing spectacle.

It's a travelling convoy of riders, coaches, mechanics, officials, team chefs, physio's, trainers, camera crews, journalists, track marshalls, family etc.... Sleeping in a different spot every night for 3 odd weeks, 150km a day, imagine all the traffic we don't see on TV. Course setters, traffic management, I'm sure all the teams have multiple trucks to haul their shit and to sleep in too.
 
What do you guys think about this story of Jonas being dope tested at 3am before he binned into the curb? I know they all need to be under suspicion because they're freaks, but isn't 3am taking the piss a bit (see what I did there?)
They'd never do that in an over 40's race, us old bastards need our sleep!
Pog's a weapon, I hope he keeps giving Del Toro opportunities for more stage wins and spreads it out a bit. He's never even looks tired.
 
Yeah, that middle of the night testing raises heeeeeaaaaaps of questions, such as WTF?!
