Hi Brains Trust, appreciate your input on something I am pondering.
I have a 2020 Marin Alpine Trail E1 coming soon (yes I know ebikes are bad) and it comes standard with a 29er 160mm RockShox 35 Gold RL fork and 150mm 27.5 rear.
On my current bike I am running a 2017 27.5 Rockshox Lyrik Solo AIr RC fork with 170mm Debonair upgrade that would be lucky to have 300km on it. Is it worth swapping over forks and running the Marin as a 27.5 instead of the mullet or is the Gold 35 now running the same technology and performance of an older Lyrik fork?
Trying to come to terms with the most expensive bike I have ever purchased having the lowest spec of any bike I have ever purchased.
But are your lyrics E rated?

Why do people that list their bikes for sale insist on declaring the new tyres they fitted as upgrades? I expect the bike to come with tyres I don’t want to pay extra as you fitted tyres - stop it - won’t somebody think of the children

Cracked composite pedal.. Do i just ride with it till it’s fooked or replace asap? Have only been on flats for a year so, not really keen on catastrophic failire...

Ride it until it opens right up, or until you find the next blingy set.

I cracked a Funn composite in almost the same way and it's still going without issue.

Ride on. You really only hit (very) borrowed time when the middle bit of the pedal shits itself, 'cos that has the axle running through it.

Thanks for the responses will keep on keeping on with them..
moorey hard to believe but they are good pedals.. Check the reviews..
I’m just being a jerk. Even cheaper composite pedals have been great for me.
Just saw magnesium Vaults on sale under $150 though. Good buying. V11 will be my next set, or burgtec m4’s.
