Thanks for all the bananas
Can I use Isopropyl to clean rotors in situ or should I remove the rotors first?
Why would you remove? Just use a perfectly clean rag.Can I use Isopropyl to clean rotors in situ or should I remove the rotors first?
No idea, I guess that's the idea of a quick question! Thanks MooreyWhy would you remove? Just use a perfectly clean rag.
Been using them to fit a longer shock and get slightly more travel and keep geo close to stock. I haven't noticed any twisting.Anyone using offset bushings to raise bottom bracket? Did they twist at all?
For that they're on the outer edges, the way there naturally forced by the shock. For raising the BB they have to be on the inside. I've seen that sometimes they can turn back around to the outside, but not sure exactly how common that is... Anyway, not a massive outlay to give it a try I suppose.Use them on almost all my bikes. But to slacken/lower. No twist, and can’t see they would.
What size you need @wkkie ?
If straight, I reckon they’ll stay put.For that they're on the outer edges, the way there naturally forced by the shock. For raising the BB they have to be on the inside. I'd be looking at 8mm X 22.2mm for the sizing.
I've ran mine in normal direction. Was a great tyre up front IMHO.For those who have run/are running a DHR 2 up front, mount it on the rim in the normal direction of rotation?
I’m running one backwards on the Spitty. I do think it has more traction.....but still run regular direction on the other bikes. For those who have run/are running a DHR 2 up front, mount it on the rim in the normal direction of rotation?
What’s a cleat?Backwards is the new forwards, try running your cleats back to front for better foot centering..
I don't know if I should answer this sincerely or not..What’s a cleat?
Short for CletusWhat’s a cleat?
